Hi! I am Caroline and to make it simple: I love food. I love cooking and I love eating even more. My sometimes
rather strange eating habits (an insatiable appetite and a curious
“crush” on Asian food without ever having stepped on the continent until recently) have
entertained people around me for a long time.
This blog is a dedication to the passion I have for even the smallest bite. It is about sharing my daily encounters with culinary delights – be they dishes in a restaurant, a recipe in a cookbook or just my own creations. I am neither a professional cook nor a nutritional expert, just a very dedicated eater. In real life, I actually work as a delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC in short) which brings me to some rather fun places like Mauritania and Iraq. Although neither have been overwhelming sources of culinary inspirations (sheep intestines are just not for me), living in these countries have certainly presented new food experiences.
